About Zach Dylan
Zach Dylan Salinas Despabiladeras from Philippines, Quezon Province, Lucena City was born on October 9. 2013 and was diagnosed this January 2014 with Congenital Heart Disease. He has a hole in the heart which make him suffer sometimes of difficulty in breathing. It also affects his growth and development that made him malnourished and slow in physical and mental development. Surgery should be taken place as soon as possible to save this baby's life. But his parents lack money. The surgery will cost 400,000 php or around 9,000 USD according to Philippine Heart Center. This does not include yet the expenses of hospital stay, foods and medication. The said surgery will be done in Philippine Heart Center, Manila as soon as they collected money. His pedia said that in order to reduce more complications it is better for him to take heart surgery before he reaches 6 months or 7 months old. But due to financial problems they can't afford Dylan's heart surgery and this October he is turning 1. He was also diagnosed with G6PD which made it hard for him to gain more weight. His pedia suggested that he should drink a special milk formula that costs around 8,000 php or 177 usd to help him increase his weight, but sadly his parents could only buy less expensive milk. As his cousin my eyes is weeping in tears and seeing him like that breaks my heart.

His father Rex Despabiladeras quit his job as a security guard to take care of Baby Dylan while his mother Lyn Despabiladeras is working in a small company in Laguna and earning 350 php or 7.760 a day which made it insufficient for them to pay their bills and especially the money needed for surgery. They have three boys and it is very hard for them to supply their needs.
